We suspect that your initial inclination upon the discovery of a new model's configurator is to throw gobs and gobs of equipment at a car to see just how high the price will go. After all, that's what we tend to do. It's especially satisfying with German automakers — notably Porsche and BMW — who seem to have turned option pricing into something bordering on absurdist theatre.

It looks remarkably like a Copen…
It does indeed, and at 5mm shorter, the same width, and only 45mm higher the OFC-1 is all but identical to the Copen. In fact, it is the new Copen, just not as cute. But perhaps the biggest changes is the switch from a two to a three-piece folding roof.

The sales figures for June sales have just been released, and the decline in sales is the lowest for a year – down 15.7%. And it’s the Eco cars that are the big winners. Ford was top of the heap with 29,803 sales.
